Ekikere received a certificate in entrepreneurship and his Bachelors in Finance from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He is using his expertise from his studies, organizational involvement, and work experiences to build Sweatii with long time friend Egon Lyttle.
Ekikere plans on working in the Finance industry while simultaneously leading Sweatii to profitability in order to help undeserved communities. How does Ekikere get Sweatii? When he's not in meetings with nonprofit organizations, Ekikere likes to stay in shape by weight training, boxing and he maintains his flexibility by doing yoga.
Egon received a Business and Management certificate from the prestigious McCombs School of Business as well as a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, he has learned not only to care for patients but has also gained invaluable insight on under-served populations.
Egon has had the privilege of presenting his clinical exemplar on diabetes to university Deans and their distinguished guests at the annual Texas Leadership Society Summit. He has also worked as a lab assistant in the Gore Lab for cancer research and has partaken in numerous mentor opportunities and student panels. Needless to say- Egon keeps himself busy.
Following graduation, Egon has return to his hometown of Houston to begin his nursing career. He looks forward to working with local Houston non-profits to bring awareness and health to the community.
